Shipping Policy

Overdrive Electronics ships to the United States, including Alaski and Hawaii. We ship via Fedex, so we cannot deliver to APO/FPO or PO Boxes. If you put a PO box as the shipping address, you will be contacted for a physical address. If Fedex cannnot deliver to your address, we will notify you. Once you place an order and we have started to fulfill the order, your order cannot be canceled. You will need to either refuse the shipment or return the order once it is delivered with an RMA number. This policy is due to the fast order fulfillment methods that we use in order to ship your order quickly and efficiently. Any order that is on Backorder can be canceled at any time.

Most orders placed by 12PM EST are shipped the same day. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. We ship out of multiple warehouses so your order may be split up between two shipments. We will provide you with the necessary tracking numbers in order to properly track your order. **IMPORTANT** Orders are not shipped with Signature Required. If you do NOT want Fedex leaving the package on your doorstep, please choose a shipping address that someone can be available, like a work address. Overdrive Electronics is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages that are left unattended. If you do not provide us with an address where you can get the package in a timely manner, then we cannot be held responsible.

You have three shipping methods to choose from with Fedex. Please choose Ground, Express (3 day), 2 Day, or Overnight based on your needs. Deliveries are not made on weekends or holidays. Customes in Hawaii or Alaska must choose Fedex 2 Day or Overnight to receive their packages as there is not Ground option.

**Please note that if you are shipping to an address that is different from the billing, please contact your bank to add the address as an alternate.  This will help in processing your order efficiently.  If the shipping information is completely different than the billing and we are unable to verify the information, then your order may not be fulfilled.**

At this time Google Checkout orders are only shipped via Ground, no matter which method you choose as we charge a flat rate for Google Checkout Shipments.

Return Policy

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from Overdrive Electronics prior to the return of any merchandise. If you ordered from our website, please log in to your account and click on Completed Orders. For the order that you wish to return, you can click on Return Items in order to get an RMA number. If you ordered from us, but not on our website, please use our contact form and send all the appropriate order details in order to get your RMA number. Products returned without a RMA number will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. Do not ship the item to the address on the box. This will cause your order to not be refunded. You will receive instructions on how to properly return when we provide you with an RMA number. We are unable to take back a return without the manufacturer's box and packing materials, so please keep this until you are sure that you will not be returning it. RMA numbers are only good for a period of 15 Days.

Defective returns are eligible for return only within 30 days from Overdrive Electronics sale date. After 30 days, all product must be referred to the manufacturer for authorized warranty repair. (Some manufacturers may have stricter return policies.) Factory sealed product in re-sellable condition may be returned at Overdrive Electronics' discretion. Non-defective opened products will NOT be considered for return. Re-sellable products authorized for return will be refunded, but will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Items showing signs of misuse or consumer abuse will not be accepted for a refund. Inbound and outbound shipping charges are not refundable or reimbursable under any circumstance.

In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please refuse shipment if the damage is external or notify us within 24 hours if the damage is concealed. Overdrive Electronics, at it's sole discretion, will either ship a replacement or issue a full refund when, and if, the claim is settled with the carrier.  Items shipped to freight forwarders must be inspected for damage prior to forwarding shipment. No damage claims will be accepted once an item has been signed for or left in possession of freight forwarder.  WE CANNOT ACCEPT DAMAGE CLAIMS AFTER 24 HOURS FROM THE PACKAGE DELIVERY DATE.

**Plasma TV's, TV's 30" or larger, Projectors, Monitors 30" or larger cannot be returned.  Any product issues can be solved by the manufacturer.

Delivery Time

Delivery time will vary depending on your location and which shipping method you have chosen. Please note that Overnight shipments will not be processed after 12PM EST for same day shipping. They will be shipped out the next business day. Please visit our Shipping Schedule for assitance on choosing your shipping method and corresponding delivery time. Please make sure someone is able to be avaible for receiving the package on delivery day.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You can also use your debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo. We also accept Paypal and Google Checkout as alternative payment methods. Google Checkout orders are only shipped via Ground, no matter which method you choose.  If you choose to pay with a Check, please note that we cannot guarantee inventory by the time the check arrives and clears. Your order will not ship until the check has cleared. If you are a Government Agency, Business, or School, we can accept Purchase Orders. Please contact us before sending a Purchase Order. We stongly recommend purchasing with a credit card for your own protection. This is the safest and fastest payment method. **Please note that your credit card is not charged until the order is shipped.**

Sales Tax

Overdrive Electronics charges Sales Tax in California, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. If your shipping address is in one of these states, then the applicable Sales tax will be added to your order.

Privacy Policy

Overdrive Electronics respects your privacy and does not distribute your information to any third party that is not involved directly in the fulfillment of your order. Pricing/Information Mistakes

Overdrive Electronics makes every effort to make sure that our pricing and product information are up to date and accurate. In the event that there is a pricing or information discrepancy, Overdrive Electronics reserves the right to cancel your order at any time and for any reason. You will receive a full refund during these instances.
